Looking to replace the black/plastic headlights that were on when I purchased. The view is very short with these aftermarket lenses. I see alot of variations/types. I want to stay as close to OEM as possible and most cost effective replacement. Any suggestions?

I agree aftermarket headlights output isn’t the greatest and it’s not because of the housing lens but it’s the quality of the projector lens used. OEM is not cheap and I would rate it 6/10 on how efficient the foreground performance is. For the same amount of money you can allocate that for an aftermarket projector lens retrofit and get the best possible lighting foreground performance for your $$$.

Great! Just tell me the setup suppliersand cost and I will do. I read a few threads and just want to piggy back on someone elses research this time. Just don't have the usual time to invest in this one. Thanks for your quick input.

By the way in the pic above your running board lights are on. My running board lights go off after closing the door. Is this a mod?

There are a few options for aftermarket projectors, HiD or LED? 2.5” or 3” diameter lens? A pair of projectors retrofit or 2 pairs of projectors retrofit (quad setup)? Budget and ‘how bright’ is bright for you are a few things to consider but all doable. Those step board lights were on bec one of the doors weren’t fully closed when I took he picture, but they do turn off like yours when all doors are fully closed.
