So I bought an 05 Sequoia on Friday. It was going to sit outside at my cousins house that night before driving it home on Saturday. I locked the spare keys and remotes in the glove box. Now I can't get the dang thing to unlock.
Is it possible to lock the glove box with the valet key? Maybe the owner has been driving the car with the valet key since he bought it new. I got 3 keys and 2 remotes and one key has NEVER been used. Has the paper tag and metal tag from the dealer.
Is the glove box the same physically the same between all 1st gen Tundras and Sequioas? In 05 it looks like the Sequoia got a locking glove box which will now not unlock. An 05-07 glove box would cost $50 plus shipping while early Tundra is $25 local incase I have to destroy the existing. I don't care about locking anymore as I'm going to be installing a safe in the console.
