Looking for a new to me, used car to replace my 2020 Forester. Sounds silly, but come on, these Lexus/Land Cruisers are pretty sweet.
Location: Indiana - Chicagoland
Travel: up to 300 miles, maybe more if I really love it
Milage: looking to stay under 200k

Price point: Less than $15k ideally especially if it needs some work to it.

it'll be used as a daily driver to and from Chicago, and flat towed behind our RV (shhh I didn't say flat tow)
Lots of cars I have looked at up here have been rust buckets... so If I need to travel, I get it.

Thank you! My husband got quite lucky finding his '99 LX locally, but it lived most of its life in AZ, so frame was mint.
I'm hoping for some of that luck. FL does seem like a good market, I'll consider the distance!

I have a 2005 GX470 with 200k CA car it’s entire life… still in So Cal. Not even a scratch of rust. Let me know if you’re interested and we can go over details. It’s in great shape. 90% of what wears out at 200k has been replaced recently.
