Don't forget that the wheel hub center caps and the inside door kick plates also have Lexus badging.
Personally- We had the same sort of hang up when we first got ours. Very self-couscious and did not want to appear pretensious to many friends who could not even dream of affording such a vehicle. After a while we/you start to realize a few things:
#1 it is your money, not anyone else's. If you want to spend it on a very high quality vehicle that is backed a very good company, that is your decision.
#2- it is a used vehicle; not like you are the one taking a hit in depreciation on a $60+g vehicle. Sounds like that is a very good financial decision. Lots of people will pay way more for brand new Super Duty Trucks and not think twice but snub their noses at someone driving a Lexus- it that really a smart thing to do?
#3 (and this applies to us specifically) We use it like a truck and a capable off-roader.
Our final factor- it's paid for!
Got our Cert-Used 2000 in 2004 w/ 54k miles, almost 90k miles now and an excellent vehicle. We paid dealer list for it- which was in-line w/ KBB for the options, mileage and year. We got them to "activate" the Lexus warranty for no additional cost (they said it was about $900). We have had to use the warranty to replace both mirrors which stopped auto adjusting. This was apx a $1700 repair, IFRC. A couple other little things have been covered but noting that major.
Good Luck to you.
