Afternoon,
My Nav Screen is going out, Cracks, Discoloration, Bubbles, Etc. My question is do you all know of a place i can send the unit to, to just replace the screen itself? A quick google search pulled up a place in California called German Audio, will repair for 250. Anyone done this?
Also if someone has a old unit for sale i would be interested if i cant get screen repaired. Im assuming its just plug and play and can just buy a new unit, saw some on ebay for 750. Thats ridiculous.

Man , let me know if you find this solution , I’m having the same problem with my screen !

Note the above link is for a 7" navigation screen that fit in a 2001 LC. It may also fit other years. Unsure if your 2003 screen is same manufacturer.

There are replacement screens out there for sale for less. What I had to do was remove the entire unit, just as you would to replace the screen, to figure out the exact Toshiba model number of the OEM nav. screen. Then I put it back together and found the new screen and replaced it once I received it.

I initially ordered what I thought was the correct screen but although it was very similar, it wasn't correct.

You will reuse the plastic cover that is the touchscreen to replace over the new lcd screen.
Screen was $45 was I purchased. Currently lists for $75.

I did not document the process unfortunately.
