I was wondering if anyone out there with the older style console (LX470) has attempted to put in a factory navigation system. I have an 01 with Mark Levinson, and was wondering if its just a simple pluging in the existing plugs (for air/heat and stereo) into the new navigation system?
It looks like maybe you need a new center trim to move around things like the clock and antenna button?
Does the navigation system also include a cd player/changer or is that an external unit?
The reason why I was thinking of going with a factory unit is that I was told that the Lx470 stereo opening is larger than a standard double din - meaning that the double din would mount, but you would need a custom trim piece to fill the gaps on the side?
