Well, I'm at 59,230 and need to think about the 60k service.

Anything specifically to look for to prevent being ripped off?

Anyone have a recommended service place/dealer in the L.A. basin?

How much should it cost, ballpark?

As for the price, I do not have an idea.

I would think about DIY or having toyota do it unless you're willing to pay $$$. Here in AZ, the 60K on a '98-03 is $1.6K-$2.4K. I balked and did most of it myself...saved myself a grand.
