I just replaced the transfer case shift lever seat in my '93 4WD 4-Runner with the manual transmission. I'm having a lot of trouble holding down the metal cover against the force of the spring so I can install the retainer clip. Are there any tips and/or special tools that will make this easier?

Hello all, in research today it looks like I have found this aisin part #. SAT 012. Can any techs confirm this is the OE part lexus would sell for the transfer case actuator?
