I would like to know if it is normal to have continuity between the oil sensor switch cable (not the presssure gauge sender), to the 5 marked cables that go to the edic relay. I also have continuity between this same cable from the oil sensor switch to the cable that comes out of the fuse marked...

Does anyone happen to have a new or used in good condition 2F oil pan? I'm looking for part# 12101-61013, which uses the gasket 12151-61011. I know they're still available from a dealer, but just thought I'd check to see if anyone has a good one sitting around unused. Thank you, Mike

What would be the result If I take the singal wire from the 2000 Tahoe 5.3 using it's oil pressure sending unit that I swapped into my 88 FJ62 and send that signal directly to the FJ62 oil pressure gauge?

Just curious to compare. With engine off, my oil pressure needle sits far below the lowest tick mark. Is this normal? Where does yours sit? I was thinking that it should sit exactly at the lowest tick mark.
