Well, I'm going to be moving back to my home state of WV. Found out this weekend; was offered a job I couldn't turn down. My wife and I are both happy about it. Another Plus side is I should be able to progress more rapidly on my cruiser, as a nice sized garage is definitely in my not too distant future. I don't think that there is much of a cruiser base in WV, so I'm hoping you guys still let me tag along as an honorary member once I get my cruiser up to snuff..:D

On another note, I bought a small pile of cruiser stuff from a guy up in Wooster that was moving to Oregon. There is apparently a guy just north of Wooster that has 3 immaculate restored cruisers, including a 45, and he thought they were the only two cruisers in Ohio. He is supposedly giving my contact info to this guy..I think his name was Dick.

Here's the deal. I don't need most of this stuff, so If you see something you want, let me know. Most will go cheap or free to people here on this local board I would like to recoup the money that I have in it is all (not much). If no one needs anything, it'll probably then go up in the main for sale section. I know the old style hub caps are pretty rare..so I may hold onto those. Strange why there are 3 full ones, and 1 w/ cutout for the lockout. For some other strange reason, I have a pile of the front later style hubcaps with holes, and 1 rear one that is pretty banged up. Some of this stuff I don't know what it is, some I could tell was for older models..front bib marker lights, a dizzy and alt for a 2F (I think?), Liscense plate bracket, engine skid plate(?), A couple radiator shrouds (1 very nice aluminum one)..a big turn signal (FJ45?), rear bolt on hitch for a ball mount..

Also have 5 original skinny steel wheels with the tabs for the hubcaps, 4 have very good Firestone tires on them. The fronts of the rims look good, the back sides are pretty rusty/scaling. I would probably get them blasted. I am back and forth about keeping these..

Also got a giant steel military box full of misc bagged & marked bolts, & gaskets from SOR still in the packages, a front mat (keeping all of these for myself...). Also have what looks like a complete set of glass for a hard top, including the corner glass with nice looking gaskets on them.

Also...I have about a 5ft long galvanized I-beam sitting in my driveway if anyone can use it..it was the mailbox post for the house when I moved in.

Well don't want to step on any locals toes............but I'd be real interested in the early hubcaps. I was born a Buckeye, that count? :D

I too am interested in the old school hubcaps if you decide to let them go. Also interested in the clear front round marker lights, rear tail lights and round front fender turn signal in the second picture: all for my '66 FJ45 project.

Somewhat interested in the skidplate if my budget can take it. Thoughts on $$'s? Can pick up week of June 20th on my way home from NJ...

Don't forget to pick up the seats from Mark (82Trekker) before you go...

Nick,

You've got dibs on everything you listed (sorry cruisernerd...got some seats off Nick and would like to return the favor). Don't worry about $, I'll make you a smokin deal. There are several small parts labelled mid-sixties-ish you may also want to rifle through.

I'll be around all week, after 5:30 on the weekdays and all day on the weekends, working on the house. But you're welcome to stop by and pick it up anytime...my wife will be around. PM me and we can talk details.

You want just two of the fronts? I've got like 6 of the fronts (and just the one dinged up rear).

Free :)

I was going to throw it in the scrap bin at work, unless someone wanted it.

Marty

EDIT: Also have a big C-Channel bumper that was on my 40 that was going to scrap, you're welcome to it as well.

Sure, I'll take them all but don't need them all if someone else wants some. I'll take anything rustic green also. :)
I bet Nick would be nice enough to grab it on his way through for me? ;)

Also need to state that these are not mint, they have dings, and the back sides are pretty rusty. I'll probably keep the best two fronts to myself.

How's $25 for all the rest sound? I'll try to get more pics...

hit me with some pix when you get a chance

I see I have at least one of the locals trained well... :grinpimp:

I'd be happy to grab whatever Marty pays for and deliver on my way past his house.

Sorry to hear you're leaving us.:frown:

I could use the early points distributor and "tuna-can" clamp.
LMK how much and where I can pick up, or if you want to mail it.

Some of my people are from Braxton Co., does that count for anything?;p
A distant relative owns Chenoweth Ford/lincoln/merc in Clarksburg.

I wasn't able to get more pics yet, but based on a second look I gave them tonight, I'm not really sure how to put a number on them. How about this deal for Marty #1, I'll give 'em to Nick to get to you, and if they look good when you get them, just send me a few bucks? ;)

Distributor is free. Funny, I was about to tell the guy just to keep it because I had no use for it, but the exact thought that went through my head was "I bet Jim might want it..." :D

I drive through (actually by it now, on the bypass) Lancaster when we go back to WV. I could try and stop in and drop it off on one of my trips back, but it might be a couple weeks before then. Would like to introduce myself as well, since we haven't met yet.

Funny, I have heard the name Chenoweth Ford all my life, and didn't even think about it until now that you said it. Of course, being a Ford dealership, I could see how you might wanna distance yourself :D
