Looking for the window for the 58-69 1 barrel carb, and a rebuild kit, and unsure what the third part is but it screws in next to the fuel mixture adjustment screw. Any help or anyone with these let me know thanks.

There are 3 different versions of the SD40 carb. You need to pick a year to order the sight glass and kit.

The id # on top is 7 I 4 which makes it sept 64 if I'm not mistaken. So where can I find a kit for that, and who can I order the glass from.

The date code format is Y M DD.
7 I 4 translates to 1967 Sept. 4th.
If it has the smallest window, then it is still available from Toyota.
Kits are definitely available from Toyota, but you have to find a dealer willing to order it.

Well I read ti backwards least I knew what to look for. Our toyota guy here will order about anything he's in our local Chapter. So I guess i need to make a trip out there.

i have a stupid question, how does the I translate into september?
and what are the other months designations?
I is the 9th letter in the alphabet and september is the 9th month of the year I'm guessing?
