Cruise Moab in our 100's, and 80's, and...

OK folks. We've decided. We're bringing our 100 to Cruise Moab. Thanks to the replies on the forum and via email. We're hoping other 100's (Amando, LandPimp, etc) will sign up for the same days and runs we are? Here's our schedule:

May 3rd...Arrive
May 4th...Sign in and scope the area
May 5th...Golden Spike
May 6th...Fins and Things
May 7th...Hell's Revenge
May 8th...Return to Tucson

Christo says he'll lead The Spike if I bring the 100. You're on Mr. Slee so sign up. ;p
Walt: You didn't even have to "work me" to get the 100 there! :)

We really hope to meet and make many friends on this trip. If you plan on joining us please let me know. Thanks!
(Oh, and REFFUG.....come along too and "watch a 100 go where an 80 goes") :D

Sold my FZJ80 and now I have a new V8 4runner (highway cruiser :) ) Will one day buy a LC/LX. Wife wants to move to Kanab UT. (she works with a humane group in Angel Canyan) so at that time I will be living close and will need to have the LC, to show off with :)

Hmmm, 100s on Golden Spike with Christo leading....

I'm thinking last year's breakneck pace and recording setting early finish time is in jeopardy. Too many 80s to really haul ass. You guys may be back in camp for lunch.

Seriously, you couldn't have a better leader - or vehicles for that trail. ;)

Really wish I could Shotts but I don't think my 80 is gonna make Moab this year. :o But knowing you I am sure I can trust you will have a video or picture link made available to me so that I can witness the greatness of your truck. :flipoff2: Be glad If I did bring the 80 it might make you jealous. :flipoff2:

How can I get in on this? Now I have a goal on when to have the LX ready.

Dude, no sh@t, I am sure there will be some extreme pucker time but your rig can handle it. :cheers: Wish I was gonna get to do Moab this year but gotta a few things going on and I don't think it will be possible. :doh: Maybe next year. Anyway take lots of pics, I look forward to seeing a 100 on the spike. :bounce:

Is Christo leading Golden Spike on Thursday? I'm planning on signing up tomorrow. Wouldn't mind seeing a 100 on the trail :)
 
On Pritchett TOO! ????! I"m thinking Golden Spike Thurs, Hell's Revenge Fri., Pritchett Sat. Also, one thing on your list Shotts. If you do Hell's Revenge and Fins and Things you will be disappointed in Fins after seeing Hell's Revenge. I'd try to opt for a different area to mix things up a little. Similiar scenery and types of wheeling, fins is a lot easier. My reasoning for Hell's Revenge on Fri. is that it is a shorter run to give time to get to dinner and raffle.
 
hey shootz and christo i may try to sign up may is some time off and i would be coming from jersey but can you point out some mods that are needed i currently have a stock lx with bfg tires i will have sliders on by that time and i dont mind messing up the bumpers (saving for slee's back and an arb up front) are lockers really needed?

What year LX? If it's traction controlled you'll be amazed at what it can do....though I've never been on these trails.
