I agree. It would be fun to have a cruiser down there with you.

All that you cant leave behind...

I would love to, but I am going to school for about ten months to learn Spanish, and then i'm off to El Salvador after that to do full time relief and development work. (There are LOTS of LC's in El Salvador :-)

Yeah i'm looking at a 70 series with a 1Hz when I get to El Salvador. But this baby has gotta go.

I hope you enjoy El Salvador. I was born in Morazan, El Salvador. I'm there at least once per year. Plenty of nice 70 series out there! Good luck!

So I am trying to keep my rig clean for selling it. But a buddy (my pastor of all people) called me up because he was really stuck.

Canada - USA

So I am curious too. I went to a USA government site and it looks like its all good, except they do not mention the RHD. Because they made gas LC's in the US, why not a diesel rig?

http://www.foreignborn.com/visas_imm/entering_us/7importingyourcar.htm

I'm sure someone knows the answers to these questions.

Anyways $13,000, what a deal...

That's a great rig. To answer your question about right hand drive, it's not an issue here in the States. They sell RHD Jeeps here both to the general public and to postal workers on rural routes that cannot use a Postal Service approved Jeep (i.e. independent contractors). I also know a few guys here in town that daily drive right hand drive Mini Coopers imported from GB. It's not an issue with inspections provided all the necessary equipment is on the truck for a local inspection (which they are on RHD vehicles...just on the opposite side ;) ).
