OK, had some deals on parts fall through and now I need this truck sold.

Located in Northumberland, PA 17857 500$ takes it as it is...

85' SR5 4runner 235K miles bed has some major holes in it, otherwise the cab and floorboards are usable. I have sold the front drive shaft, hard top, interior and dash, comes with the tailgate (rusted but works), was a one owner truck dealer serviced, no leaks on the motor, runs great, has power, 5 speed, both axles complete, rear drive line, PS and all parts still in the truck, have both sets of seats that can go with it. Good doors, windshield, all power windows work, etc. *no guage cluster, gas tank cover, lenses for lights front or rear, hardtop or roll bar.......it has the original front bumper etc. in good shape, hood is good.

I have the title. Come and get it... frame is crusty but has no holes!

good deal. do you know how the body lines match up to a 1st gen truck cab/bed? ive been reading threads on making 1st gen xtra cabs, and got some ideas...just wondering.

where are you located in Nory? my band is playing at the 101 on front street tomorrow night at 8.

hmmmm... may stop down. Never been there but heard of the place..

I think the cabs match up well, may have to move a mount or two. This one coule be cut into an open extracab, the body is good from the rear floor mounts forward...

how's it run?

runs great, ran it 3 hours from jersey to PA on I-80. No leaks, idles right, no engine codes, good power going up the mountains. Was well cared for by the one owner from whom I purchased the truck.

and you say the frame's good, as well?

FRAME IS FLAKY, let's be clear about it. The frame has a rough and thorough layer of surface rust, no holes though and I hit it with a hammer all around with no compromised material. The reason I am not using it is the combination of the holes in the bed area and the fact it would take a frame off to make sure the frame lasts if built up. I don't have the time for that at this point. Would I use the frame? I would have to wire wheel it down and then make the decision. There is no rot but the layer of rust is like an 1/8 thick at least. The truck came from jersey so road chemicals completely covered it's underside in rust. The floorboards of the body are amazingly in good shape though.

also, the only reason the 4runner was taken off the road is because the driver side shock mount broke off when the owner hit a large pothole. The rust must have at least had a hand in weakening the mount...
