    Hairyapple's trailer build.

Before the lid it wasn't much heavier then my m416. Its pretty light. I can pick up the tongue and wheelbarrow it around the shop and yard by myself.

Ohhhh yeah. Sorry, I have been slacking on keeping this updated. I also got really distracted by my FJ40 motor swap...

    Hairyapple's trailer build.

Not much has happened in the last two weeks. I've been sick as hell, and things have been busy. Hopefully next week we get that tailgate on it and it can get painted.

    Hairyapple's trailer build.

We got the fenders finished, the real tires and wheels on it, and the lid done in the last month. It's coming along nice. We are going to get lights on it, and a tailgate this week, and then it's more or less done. I think we'll build a swing out at some point as well, but after the tailgate...

The steps are .120 wall 1.5 sqaure tube, with 10g tops. They are tough. :)

And finally, front steps, and fenders, and this is about where I'm at today. Next week I'm hoping to finish up the fenders, and the tailgate, and can start on the lid. Once those are done, it's off to be painted and we can do the wiring and lights and be ready for camping next summer. It's...

    Hairyapple's trailer build.

Welded the sides and back onto the body, as well as the rectangle tube around the top to keep the body stiff, and act as a flat spot so the lid will seal up. The rear will be cut for a tailgate, but for now I left the tube on to keep the body stiff and square until I make the fenders to...

    Hairyapple's trailer build.

Had the body panels bent at a shop, the sides and the axle are the only parts I didn't fab.

    Hairyapple's trailer build.

Nothing too unique, a M416 clone, Started it about a year ago, got put away while we built the shop, finally got back to it this last few months and it's coming out great so far. Building this with a friend, who will keep it when it's done. Then we hopefully will build a 2nd one for me and...

    Bantam repair and rebuild

And this is where I am right now. Steps and bumper are pretty much done. Tailgate is done, needs some caps welded on and some clean up still, plus latches. I am debating doing tube fenders for it since the original round ones are pretty beat. Hopefully I can get a lid knocked out this week...

I started building front steps, and got the drawbar built, and reenforced the front frame area quite a bit.
