Thanks mate....i believe you are correct, these are really cheap. The LC 80 in UAE is not very popular anymore unfortunately. We have the Y62 Nissan Patrol and the LC 200 and FJ and Jeep Rubicons here, so theres not much options for suspension.

I had the same issue Masud....OBDI scanner confirmed it to be knock sensor. Changed the first one (the one which is difficult to reach easily) and the car was back to normal...All the best with yours.

Super forum for the 80, a lot to learn and nice guys to ask the touch questions that your mechanic doesn't bother to reply about....sums up IH8MUD 80 series forum for me.
So here goes. I have a noise from my back diff which increases as I pass over 50mph but subsides as I pass over...
I got a code 52 on my 80 and it mentioned the following
1] Left Knock Sensor Signal abnormal.
2] Knock sensor circuit fault
3] Senor to be tighten too close or too loose to the cylinder body
4] Ignition timing error
5] securing seat of generator or compressor loose
6] too large clearance noise...
Could you give us more tips on sand driving related specifically to the fzj80. I mean do we keep the overdrive button on? Do we use the Ect button and if so when.
