....so if one already has an immobilizer, this could act like a second line of defense too?
Does the switch need to be depressed every time the vehicle needs to start? Like a momentary switch or on/off?
You are correct, it does absorb moisture faster and should be bled more often than DOT3
This DOT4 will absorb moisture at a higher rate yet will be less affected by heat - that's the trade off...
Recently switched brake fluid. [ATE-TYP200] I was getting brake fade on the trail when crawling/ high heat/ steep hills. I have a good working brake system i.e. master, lines, pads & rotors. Did frequent bleedings to make sure I flushed out cooked, compressed, water absorbed fluid.

Update with new VC120 installed.
Trip yesterday up to 7,500' and of course a fully topped off tank before hitting the trail.
Was in 4LO all day.
Checked cap twice while out; first check approx 85° - no pressure.
Second check towards end of the trail ambient temp upwards of 95° - some pressure...
I'm really not sure if the amount of rows have an affect or if it's the speed at which the fluid flows.
One could argue, higher flow rate would keep the temperature of the radiator lower while another could argue that the fluid has more areas to flow.
Then there's the properties between...
Sounds like the next round of comparisons is coming up!
Look in your filler neck and try to see the size of your CSF channels or veins, whichever they are called. Even better if you can get a picture (depending on if you can see with your coolant)
Great factor to point out, I have not seen documentation referencing the difference between the coolants. Much like you I'm sure, I have heard everyone's preference over the years. I will say that my 1fz had the green put in by the engine builder after it was re-built and reinstalled. At that...

I have recently switched from a Denso radiator (which I installed 2 years ago) over to the TYC 1918 as recommended by our friends in hot climates. At this time I also took the opportunity to completely flush out the system from the green premix 50/50 over to the...
Yeah makes sense, its hard to get stuff these days. I would also recommend picking up a pair of the "AMBER" lens covers for those lights too. Amber has an amazing ability to cut through the dust if you are running at night and following other rigs.
White light reflects off the dust in the air...
