I still have the wheels and have been trying to sell them local on craigslist. Gone through about 5 or 6 flakes now, its starting to drive me crazy. PM me with an offer and your zip code, I can find out how much to ship them.

That LX is clean! The paint looks great, I was lucky to find this scheme, it has always been one of my favorites

I am ridiculously behind on updating the build! I have a ton of great photos and details I will try to post soon. As of now the LX is up and running strong! Right after the motor build I installed our Front Runner roof rack, ICON 3" lift, TOYO 315/75/R16 Open Country MT's, and Level 9 Tracker...

Head is off, it looks like around #6 is where the gasket failed, no surprise there. Still not as bad as I thought it would look though. Sending the head to the machine tomorrow, then I can get started on cleaning everything else! :hillbilly:

Exhaust cam out. I have never done this before personally, but it was actually a lot easier than I thought it would be. FSM is an absolute must though! Both cams out, I was surprised at how good everything looked! Cam caps are numbered anyways, but better to photo and label everything just...

Lots of work, but not much time to post on mud! The head is off, here are some photos of the progress so far. :) Upper intake manifold off: Valve cover off Timing marks on cam. Single dots touching for TDC, double dots on the outside

Got a little more done on the HG yesterday. Throttle body, alternator, distributor and some other odds and ends. Hopefully tonight I can find the time to get the manifolds off!

    I'm home!

Couple pictures from starting on the head gasket. I of course broke the intake hose... Even being really delicate with it haha. I set the motor to TDC, attatched a couple pictures in case anyone ever needs those for reference. The dist rotor at 11 o'clock is TDC, the second picture with it at...

Thanks guys! No build list yet, or at least nothing in stone. Just started the tear down on the motor to do the HG. Will post photos and info on that soon. Once that is done I can move on to the fun stuff! Pretty tossed up about the wheels. Personally I hate the chrome, but I have...

    I'm home!

So its been a while, but I am once again a proud owner of a Land Cruiser.. err Lexus LX450! I was fortunate to find this very clean 96. The rig is pretty solid, 2 owner with 202k on the odometer. The PO noticed some oil in the coolant overflow tank and decided to sell it to avoid the hassle of...

    Adjustable Panhard source

I have yet to reply directly to Tony, but I am talking with the owner about different solutions. Although it sounds like he may never purchase from us again anyways, customer service is still important to me. I didn not say "tough s***" this is how the rods come, but I do not feel like what he...

    Adjustable Panhard source

Tony, I certainly did show the pictures to my shop guys and explained how important it is that our customers recieve the highest quality parts that they can get. We have already changed the procedures on how we clean the arms to try and remove as much of the debris as possible. I am...

    Adjustable Panhard source

Well I thought I might chime in and post the full conversations for this issue. And also, just to make things clear on some of the other issues that came up: Our front rod is a used 80 series panhard, cut and modified to be adjustable. On the page where you purchase this bar it...
