Yes I installed it and cut it based on pictures. I almost made the cut too wide at the opening at top back of the bumper because the cover almost doesn't cover the opening. If someone did provide measurements it would be great for future searchers.
My rotors look like that all the time but we see salt on the roads in the winter and I just assumed it was from that. I go "Cuban Style" on them like you did, hammer off the rust, run a file over it and reinstall. Easier in the back than the front so the fronts just get replaced with new. I've...
Hi, I have a 1997 80 series and a factory JDM winch on the way. Is there anyone that has a JDM bumper that would be willing to measure the width and height of the factory opening so that I can cut my bumper properly. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I just rebuilt my oem starter with toyota parts. Took one evening to do it in the garage behind my house. Original parts lasted 23 years. Going on 3 years of daily driving after the rebuild. Sorry I can't help but to me it sounds like something other than your starter. Something that is affected...
The mechanical switch that is in the axle itself has been a source of electrical issues for me. From memory the same switch is used front, center and rear. If it were me I'd buy one just to have on hand and troubleshoot this first while it was being shipped.
Chris
I replaced mine by just forcing it through after much time moving it around to try and get it through easily. One thing for sure you need to remove the spare tire.
Sorry it has been too long I can't remember all the exact details but I can report that my fix from 2008 is still going strong with no codes sent since.
86337-60080 is what is in your truck based on the image. At least that is what it looks like to me. I have a 97 and when I replaced my antenna nylon cord it looked like your nylon cord.
You have the wrong part judging by the picture you had an antenna that moved up and down automatically and you are trying to replace it with a basic antenna. Toyota EPC if you need OEM parts or just abandon the old antenna altogether and replace it with aftermarket if that is your thing.
Cheapest way is to take a ride in a 40 then come back to the 80. Honestly though I would have never guessed the 80 to be considered for ride quality improvement. Mine is so nice on the road it makes me happy every time I drive it. I'm stock except for 285/75 tires. Like others I'm guessing your...
Touch the two meter leads together and make sure your meter and meter wires are functioning. Once you know what happens when you do that you can test the links. When you check the links it should be similar to what happened when you touched the leads together.
To test the links do what you are...
Thought I'd add to this. My door was also stuck closed for the last 2 days. I used the OP procedure but for whatever reason my lever was stuck down. I used a 1/16" wire with a small hook on the end to grab it and pull up. Now I can use the door but not lock it until I pull off the panel and see...
285/75R16 on stock springs, no rubbing on anything. One thing that I really noticed when going to the larger tire was the reduced acceleration and braking. Make sure you think about this if you plan to go really large but also daily drive it and expect oem performance.
I don't see a problem with the shims other than the cost of having them on hand. I read once that the shims produce a more rigid assembly but I have no idea if that is true.
Can you just keep the motor for parts or did you just buy a short block and really nothing of use for spares.
Regarding the 4WD issue. Mine always shifts in and out of locked center diff so I have never had to get into it. Why don't you pull the front driveshaft to see what is happening...
partsouq doesn't require a signature to Canada using DHL.
amayama is another alternative.
I'll tell you though that some parts are less expensive from US suppliers such as 1sttoyotaparts and some are less from over seas. If ordering a lot of stuff you need to make a spreadsheet and cost it out...
What P/N did you buy?

I put a 260-8419 and it comes with the 1/8npt to 3/8-24 inverted flare adaptors. You end up with imperial fittings at the valve but that is no problem really. Just bend a new line and put...
