Can you measure how far the booster plus master will be length wise and diameter of the booster. The booster looks pretty skinny, so this setup might help.
Thanks!
Oh and what kind of brakes are you planning on running?
I'm afraid I'll run into the fitment issue with the 84 carb and air cleaner combo. I don't have an issue with cutting the rib and reinforcing it but just don't want to end up have to send back 3 booster and master combos back trying to get it fit/clear the carb etc.
I'm looking for someone else running this setup. I don't know the span of model years but if you do and what you have is same style/vintage etc, let me know.
Engine: 1975 2F
Carb: 1984 2f
Body: 1969
Axle: Front is OEM Disc, rears have been converted to disc.
I have some specific questions that...
I'm ready for this stage in my project. Front brakes are upgrade axles that will run the 4runner caliper or FJ60 undecided yet. The rears have the TSM rear disk conversation kit.
So now it's time give them power.
The body is a late 1960's so it has the rib down the driver side.
What's the...
Take a look at this pictures, something doesn't seem right? The lower portion of the linkage isn't sitting in the slot to activate the 4wd.
Could it be that the washer or the nut on the left bottom side of the linkage is not correctly sized?
Installed 4plus unbolt on my 40 axles front and rear. I need to order the axle shims to help the drive line on the front.
Question is are the ubolts suppose to have the equal amount of threads left after tightening down?
Should the top plate remain level/horizontal on the top of the axle...
Your install of the gear box almost seems more forward than what iron pig has their setup.

I have what we think is a 76 axles as it has the disc brakes on the front (drums in the rear of course). I wish i had a picture, but the frame and axles are at a buddy shop. It had some "sears" hub covers?
But if it is a true 76 axle my options seem to be:
-Find a used aisin (long body) and...
Came across a 2F that was part of project, didn't look to have been running for awhile. We decided to check the compression.
From front (front of vehicle) to back (rear of vehicle) and obviously this was done cold. (radiator wasn't even there).

Is it normal for the coil, not the module but the coil to get hot to the touch? We just set this up on 75 2f and it started right away and seems to be working fine, but that coil is heating up pretty quick.
Just curious if this normal? Should we be running it with a "ballast"?
Also this was...
Trying to get the materials/parts list needed to plumb the fuel safe cell (the Marksoffroad styled one, not sure the original source of the tank) on 67 fj40. It's a frame off, so I have none of the original lines to use as guide. I do have the parts that came with the tank, just looking to...
The spacer "works", but the quality is cheap and holes are not centered.
The pumps are pretty much identical. Just the one in the photo is the brand new one. I can put it on with the spacer but why does it need one? And if it needs one, it's there a toyota partnumber for it? Or would that...
