Get a punch and smack out the rivets, as it looks like they are still in (as per pic 2)
with teh cotter pin, if it has broken off at the ends, undo the nut, and then use a fine pin-punch
to remove the rest from with-in the hole.
thats what i would do in this situation.

very nice progress.
i have been modeling up my tub for a FJ45 troopy.
I am using CoCreate, have been using it for around 6 years, before that Inventor, here at work, about to start with Solid works.
heres a pic, nothing special

what was the reason for moving it back? is that so you could keep the normal radiator position and have clearence, or was it due to gear stick placement within the cab? or a bit of both?
Dave
to get it straight, the bent rail needs to be pulled past the "straight" position, as it will have a small amount of "spring back". so your upright tube maybe in the way to get the rail straight again. it looks like that tube is welded in.
hope this helps - cheers Dave
Would there be much difference between the 40 and 45 schematics? as I have tried that mob on e-bay (ask seller a question) with no luck. Very 'under-schooled' so to speak, when it comes to this type of knowledge.

I doupt it would be copper, if it actully is copper, that would mean some sort of electrical connection.
Doupt it would be structural. it would more likely be a standard bolt coated.
I could be way off mark with that....
