Ha Ha!! Me too... Only I have a 77 with a Rochester on it... and from what I Have read you want a 72~74 model carb... less emissions garbage on it... I have a good condition 77 carb i'd be willing to trade for a 74 carb.

Just buy a 2 1/4" 12point socket from sears or someplace ... works just fine, when I got mine they only had 1/2" drive so I had to buy an adapter too... total price was ~$25..

But the dimentions will work fine... sounds like between 2.5" and 2.75" by 3.75" and 6"

that one of those "hey billybob hold my beer while I cleen my engine" methods..... i knew a bunch of demo-derby drivers who would do that to their beasts b4 the start... they claimed it cleaned the engine and gave them more power..... ive seen highschool friends do it to their farm trucks...
Jc Whitney has a bunch of bulk stuff.... much less $$$ than dynamat.... others have used bedliner inthe interrior and had good results.... if i had the cash id Line-X the the whole truck panel by panel...
oem from Cdan worked really awsome for me...... even has the TEQ casting...... your linkages may be adjusted incorrectly..... do a search for brake pedal linkages .... adjust them properly and you should have less problems
