    Walkie talkies (CB or HAM) won't have enough range to cover the park. 2meter HAM mobile rigs would be your best bet. These radios have significantly more range. A full power mobile set up at camp with a good antenna on a 30ft telescopic mast should provide good coverage from the camp area. You...

    Well, actually it does supply cooler air and I have data to prove that, at least for the 80 series. Measured intake air temps were 20-50 deg lower on a sunny day in a snorkeled 80 vs. one with a factory air intake.

    Check the 80 FAQ section. The procedure posted by Raventai is what I use. If the PO had the pump out it's possible it still has some air trapped in the system, which can cause the noise.

    Bring some 80 parts, too. :D Leaving Dallas on Sun and doing some sightseeing in Northern NM and the Four Corners area before heading on up to Moab. Should be there sometime Wed afternoon. I just got the newest edition of Charles Wells book on Moab trails and will bring it along.
