Good to see someone is gonna put the old pig to some use, yes it was ghetto fab but thats what happens when your a poor college student with limited time, money, and tools, your dreams outreach reality. You better paint something on the pig orange someday down the line she deserves it.
Marshall before you buy anything look at Smooth-on products and talk to them. They have a distributer from down in like Orangeburg or somewhere. He came and did a demo in our sculpture class and just gave us like $200 worth of free stuff. Their products are awesome.
I have half doors. My comp is down so youll have to search through other threads of mine for pics. Heres a quick one though not a great view or anything.
I think if you want to waste a couple grand I'm a college student and accepting donations. I wouldnt pay nearly 4k for that. I am not sure what I would pay maybe like 1000-1500 depending on what all he has sitting around parts wise. But that is a lot of work to put it all back together and fix...
I would say the interior has been painted too if its green and black. Pigs have white interior stock with all the padding and dash and things in black. Inside the door sills should be the same color as on the outside so pumpkin if that was the original color on this one. Look on the first page...
I know right, basically I'm a broke college student and couldnt afford it. I plan on doing it by this time next yr. Ill also have finished my second degree and have a real job by then too.
Thanks Marshall, I think I just want to find some sort of short term solution that will work and be safe but not be to much effort. I want to do SOA by this time next yr so I dont want to fix it then cut it all back up anyway.
I just did the swap in like march or april theres a thread on here with a lot of pics. I moved the perches out, also did a shackle reversal while I was there. I now have an issue it seems that the axle is a little offset to the drivers side so I have to go in and tweak it still but you can see...
I love that view from the front with the spotlights in there. It'll be cool for me to finish mine up and post pics next to yours since you went over the lights and I went under them with the noseguard.
Heather yours bolts onto the underside of the manifold.
This is what the bracket looks like, I have one but youll have to get an old canister off it and clean it up...
Oh Heather do we have to teach you how to use the search function at your HAMOM?
