What did you do with your 60 this weekend?

Re-de-smogged FJ60 #2. Was nice to have #1 parked adjacent to essentially copy the other setup. First start and maiden voyage and she runs great! Here are a few pics of the HAC and VSV valves.

Seeking part # for Fuel Cut (deceleration) Vacuum Switch

I've searched the forums and have found discussions on this part, but I am curious if anyone can point me in a direction to purchase a replacement. Seems like a pretty common function this part performs; continuity to ground upon vacuum presence. I'm missing mine and could use any help ya'all...

Help with Rear Hatch Latch (won’t stay shut)

working latch vs. non working latch. is taking apart the non-working latch going to show anything fixable or is this where I order a new one and hang a new part?

    gauge lights suddenly stopped working

@slcfj62 - Thank you for your explanation. I've been searching the forums for help troubleshooting my inop dash lights. Upon disconnecting the circuit board/gauge cluster connections, I was getting a 160 ohm resistance reading to ground on what I was pretty sure was the ground portion of the...

FJ60 $35 LED Dash Light Upgrade - Pics

Yep...simple. 4 of the green LED's for the gauge cluster + one more for the HVAC. I saw on another post where guys were swapping out their turn signal bulbs, choke light bulb, high-beam indicators, etc...I wasn't going that route. I just wanted my gauges to be visible @ night. Did not remove...

FJ60 $35 LED Dash Light Upgrade - Pics

Yep. I've got them rolled all the way dim and they're still pretty bright. When turned up (bright)...they're really bright! I don't mind that one bit but some people might prefer the analog feel of the old dim bulbs...I had a hard time seeing the gauges @ night even with the dimmer turned all...

FJ60 $22 LED Rear Map Light

sourced on eBay. Added some length to the (+) & (-) pigtails. Used OEM-type electrical connections to tie in to OEM Cargo Light harness. OEM Dome light was and is inop (disconnected now), but open-bulb was cause for "no light"...want the OEM light to turn on? Pig-Tail the wires and that's it. I...

FJ60 $35 LED Dash Light Upgrade - Pics

SuperBrightLED sourced. Arrived quickly. HVAC bulb is not a green LED...instead one of their brighter bulbs for this application...BRIGHT! (never worked before...missing)

    New To FJ62s

    1) I would take it to Toyota of Gladstone (near you) and pay for a used vehicle safety inspection. Peace of mind for you. 2,3,4&5) get yourself a mild lift and tires and wheels that fit it. 32-33" (or metric equivalent) are a nice size and should not require new, lower gearing for the majority...
