Looking for 1981 or 1982+ BJ41/42/44/46 Wiring Diagram for JDM trucks

Sorry, I may have spoken too soon. All of the ones I have are for August 1980-September 1982 models. If you are looking for the later model version, I don’t have it.

JDM Compound Wiper Arm on 40 series questions

I am not familiar with the standard arm spring length, as there appears to be several part numbers for the non-compound wiper arm. I can confirm that the spring for the compound wiper arm is about 10mm shorter than the non-compound arm. Other than that, they are identical. I believe you could...

JDM Compound Wiper Arm on 40 series questions

Here are a couple of pics. The first is the one on my truck. The second is a spare that I have. For the wiper blades, try 85221-90800. They are still available I think.

JDM Hazard Switch Oddity - Rotating Knob

My ‘81 BJ41 does not have this feature. The hazard knob just pulls straight out to turn on the hazard blinkers.

BJ44 water pump replacement for 2B Diesel

Sorry I didn’t post this sooner. The Aisin part number is WPT-081. This cross references to 16100-59095 and 16100-59096. I have no way of accurately measuring what you call the deck height. The distance from the end of the shaft to the face of the flange, which is not shown in any of the...

BJ44 water pump replacement for 2B Diesel

I have an OE one if I recall. It isn’t for sale, but I’ll see if I can find it to give you a part number.

    24v resistor

Functionally, the 3 ohm one Torino identified will work. You will have to fabricate a new bracket though, as it is a different size than OEM.

Long glow time and missing on initial "cold" start

I bought the plugs directly from Toyota, not the forklift plugs.

    BJ40 Starter Solenoid

    4. You'll need this manual for the engine. This is a great price for a hard to find book. There is a separate one for the chassis and other components.

    Questions about the BJ series

Since many parts are not available from Toyota anymore, I usually have to search Japanese auction sites. This in itself is not bad, and most auction prices are reasonable. However, most sellers do not ship to the United States, so I have to use a proxy service to make the purchases. In short...

    Questions about the BJ series

What are you going to use it for? Daily driver or just a weekend driver? RHD vehicles get a lot of attention in the US, but they are a bit inconvenient here. I like the uniqueness of my BJ41 since it is driven only occasionally, but I would hate it if it was driven everyday. In that case, a LHD...

    Land Cruisers Manufactured?

I believe the switch was used on late model JDM and European BJ and FJ4x models from around 1981-1984. The fog lights, however, were used in other models and years I believe.

    Land Cruisers Manufactured?

Thanks for the pics. The switch is factory for that time period.

    Land Cruisers Manufactured?

Those are JDM spec fog lights, which are pretty hard to come by. Would you take pictures of the harness that connects to the fog lights at the lights and inside the engine bay?
