B Engine in a BJ42 (1 Viewer)

Hey guys,

A few weeks ago I bought a 5 speed BJ42.
The cardealer told me it was all original and had matching numbers.

Oday I decided to clean the engine bay a little bit and I found out that I actually have a B engine instead of a 3B in my cruiser!

WTF!!!

How is that possible!

Do you guys think I can go back and tell him that he needs to swap the engine or something.

I am so mad at myself that I didnt checked it myself...

How do I find out if the numbers actually match?

Is the VIN Nr. somewhere on the engineblock or can I research somewhere to find out what enginenumber came with my VIN?
