Look nice!! Is the vehicle all stock weight too?
Would you mind sharing your hub to fender measurements? Always nice to have those up here on the forum for future reference.
There are white labels on the top or bottom of each spring that say it. Photo attached for reference.
Yes, you can adjust the preload, but that can be quite hard to do on the vehicle. Swapping the whole strut assembly left to right would actually probably be easier. But also worth checking...
I've never owned a 200 series, but the 5th gen 4runner with KDSS does the same thing, one side gets more down travel than the other up front. That won't affect anything until you're about to lift a tire off the ground.
The front and rear springs from Dobinsons are offset heights. The front...
They're a great option, and require zero maintenance. Same life expectancy in the ball joints as OEM, 100k+
SPC come out of the box with a little vertical movement in the ball joint. This video explains how to check their joints, which isn't the same as a regular joint, so any shop that...
No other shock offers high and low speed compression as well as rebound adjustment (3 different valving adjustments), so they're really in their own category as far as adjustable shocks go. You have to go with an external bypass option to get those adjustments usually from King or anyone else...
This would be my recommendation from Dobinsons:

Hey man,
You'll want to take the hose off the KDSS actuator, as the way that thing moves around, it could risk putting pressure on the hose, then fittings. You may be able to loosen and rotate the resi around so that the fitting faces downwards, then the hose can connect to that open hole just...
Yeah, it says that the 9001 is for 4.8L engines and under
I guess if you don't go to maximum throttle, you wouldn't notice the engine probably isn't getting enough air.
When I worked at ARB, we sold Donaldson precleaners in 7" and 10" body sizes, the 10" being for bigger engines, to fit on...
Currently, yes they are.

Thanks @CO18Cruiser for the order!!
For those interested that find this thread in the future, the IMS are rebuildable, but there is no specific rebuild cycle unlike a lot of other brands offered in the USA. Here's a video I made of my recent trip to Dobinsons HQ in Australia.
Glad it's all finally installed!!
That front coil delay truly sucked!!
The range of adjustment is so big, it's definitely possible to feel like it doesn't ride that great if it's not adjusted correctly.
I was in Australia a few weeks back and toured the factory, and also took a crash course...
Maybe he was trying to back off the locking nuts that hold the adjuster the wrong way. Just sounds like he didn't know what he was doing.
I'd suggest you try and loosen them up and make sure it's good, then tighten them back up before taking it to a shop again.
