Finally A Set of High Quality Set of Integrated Driving Lights for the J200

The only part necessary to remove is the radiator cover. There is plenty of room to install the light bar. And I’m very happy with the results using the ProComp brand lightbar with Osram LEDs.

So I think the Michelin Defender is the perfect all-terrain tire... (For most of us)

They tow without any adverse effects and maintain their quiet comfortable ride. I tow a Lance 1685 GVWR 6500# the LC200 handles it without difficulty using a Fastway E2 Weight Distribution hitch.

Mounting Front Driving Lights - Stock Bumper

Just finished mounting a single row ProComp 20" lightbar directly behind the grill. Lights exit without restriction thru the bottom grill space and mount directly to the metal grill support structure behind the grill. By slotting the mounting "L" bracket vertical adjustment can be made easily...

Finally A Set of High Quality Set of Integrated Driving Lights for the J200

It’s a good question. Time will tell. I expect air moving past the grill and light bar will keep temperatures below the melting point. Currently with the truck parked and the light bar on the front of the light bar is cool enough to place fingers on without any significant heat detected. Most...

Finally A Set of High Quality Set of Integrated Driving Lights for the J200

Perseverance has led to an alternate solution for the expensive grill altering LazerLamp option I described above. Here in the US an off road specialty chain called 4 Wheel Parts carries a light bar line called ProComp which has a limited lifetime warranty. Their 20" single row light bar uses...

Finally A Set of High Quality Set of Integrated Driving Lights for the J200

Marketing can be deceptive for sure, especially these days with the Feds and all their minions involved. But when I looked at the "real life" photo and saw how much better the lighting was compared to those useless OEM highbeams I thought the Triple Rs would be a significant improvement.

Finally A Set of High Quality Set of Integrated Driving Lights for the J200

LazerLamps UK has produced a set of high quality driving lights which can be integrated into the J200 grill thus eliminating exposure to damage caused by accessory lights that extend beyond the body. The kit is not currently stocked in the USA because the distributor Triple R did not think...

What have you done to your 200 Series this week?

Installed a Wolo (619) Big Bad Max Air Horn - 12 Volt, Black under the radiator shroud adjacent to the driver's side horn. I was tired of the "weak" OEM horns that gently reminded people they needed to alter their behavior. It was plug and play by splicing into the +OEM horn wire and grounding...

What dashcam are you using in your 200?

We're using a Scoche Nexar Dash Cam. $99 on Amazon and links to phone to record and store each trip. Works just fine as long as all the electronics are charged and present...

What have you done to your 200 Series this week?

Yesterday, applied Aerospace 303 to all the plastic and noticed that I was missing a middle section of the rubber drip rail moulding on the roof so ordered that. Looking for more highbeam light than the stock headlamps which are a disappointment compared to the ones I had on my Land Rover...

Michelin LTX defender vs KO2 snow performance

Drove Bridgestone Blizzak tires on a Volvo XC 90 from Haynes to Anchorage in January a few years ago and they exhibited excellent handling characteristics. I was surprised to see snow sticking into the tread on one occasion like the tire just "gripped" it. They are soft and taken off for...
