Ive got a 3 year old xcel 4/3 and i surf year round up here. Water temp ranges from 45-49 year round. Keeps me nice and toasty. But i gotta wear a hood, boots and gloves mid winter, then lose the hood in late winter, then no gloves late spring, then lose the boots on hot august days. Winter time...

I feel ya on the family thing though. But...more to life than surfing and sunsets? Just family, friends and sunrises:D What more do you need?

I always loved the scorpions in the black light display at the Zoo. Just bought the surfers guide to baja last week, tons of info!! And just tested out my new board (making sure its gonna work for baja...it will:) ) Having a couple sodas for checkpoints sounds like a good idea.

I plan on drivin down to the Baja Peninsula in the next 5 months in an FJ60 i will hopefully be purchasing in the near future. Hopin to score some waves and comin back unscathed. If anyone has been and has some advice, im all ears. Im takin my little brother (18) with me...
