Nice, I have never dealt with spacers! If they fit run em for a bit to get a feel for it. Check the torque after a couple hundred miles and call it a day.
Remove the trac function then? I hate my trac on the tundra as well but I have a button to turn it off after a couple pushes... I don't know if the runners have a trac button but the tundras look like a car fishtailing. You push the button/release, push and hold for 3 seconds and release...
What is the stock tire size? I went to a 295/65/18 on my 08 tundra and I have a level kit sitting on the garage shelf. No rub no problems. I would guess you could get away with an inch or two in size difference! Btw, low range offroad, Makes a top coil spacer that many tundra owners have had...
Looks good, pretty sure I saw this at Town Toyota a couple weeks ago! I was in a hurry though and sadly didn't even notice the extended bed but I recognized the arb, tire/rims, and mini mirrors! Looks great!
Yeah I am thinking along your lines gumby. My landcruiser is a 95 and has less rust than my tundra. s*** my 71 chev has less rust than my tundra! I did just pick up a sweet little damage multiplier for it though. 50 bucks and it's flawless.
Thats what mine has always been like when going over bumps. My dealer knew I was apprehensive about getting the recall done and I have heard from others that if you do not like the feel of your accelerator they will take the shim out and put a new designed accelerator in it that should solve...
I don't know if line-x or rhino is better. I have heard Line-x is harder. I know my line-x looks better than my father in laws rhino on his 01 f-250. Not because his is older and more used but it just doesn't look the same quality. Couldve been the person that put the rhino on for him though...
I got line-x'd paid for by dealer. It's fine and really hard. The only problem I have is everything slides around. My cooler goes everywhere hitting sides of bed wheni have it in there. I got a couple bungees to keep that from happening. The only thing is I wish I requested to have the...
Mine has been like that since driving off the lot. I had the recall done and nothin changed. I'm just used to it I guess. I have heard of others that didn't have the symptoms before but had them after like you. Take it back and have a new accelerator put on at no charge. I would not have...
I'm sorry to hear you won't be getting the roll down rear window! :flipoff2: really though I hope you enjoy your truck. They are really fun, check
out tundratalk.net/forums for a good group of tundra guys. There are a couple others but I like this one best. Congrats!
Coming from a crewmax guy, go crewmax! Tons of room, I sit back there and am comfortable. Plus reclining rear seats, and rear window rolls down. Way more room for car seat and kids! HTH.
This is from test driving both with car seat, and havin a "double cab" for a week while the cruiser...
We bought a 08 limited crewmax brand new. It has the 5.7 and 6 speed auto with seq shift. The only prob we had was a belt tensioner that had a tsb out for that item. We have about 10,000 miles on it and love our truck. Lots of room front and even more in the rear! You could pick one up used...
thats too bad you didnt have a good experience with them... I am having the rear bumper rust problem popping up on my 08 as you mentioned to me in an earlier thread that i would be having. Next time i service it i am planning on bringing it to their attention! hope i dont have the same luck...
