. I just reserved a spot and there were plenty open spots. Scroll down and you'll find some available. That's on the reserve California site. It took me a second to figure the site out
There are no assigned spots just an allotted amount of campers. Reserve any spot on the website and then just camp wherever you'd like, all the cruisers are usually together. It's like a little Toyota city on the beach complete with roads between camps
I have yet to go to a turf'n'surf and not see a train of land cruisers pulling a motor home out of or into the soft sand. If your tow rig is 4wd and you AIR DOWN and pick a smooth line it'll be no problem. Just a bit of advice, ask for help BEFORE you bury the tow rig and trailer in the soft...
Tow the trailer right onto the beach, my tow rig is 2wd drive so it's always interesting getting up to camp but trailering on the hard sand is no big deal. I've seen plenty of people fishing off the beach but I'd recommend double checking, I don't want to give advice that may get someone in trouble.
Thank you seth I do appreciate that. I'd like to play tow truck too. Hopefully I can keep out of trouble this year. I've had my fair share of being buried in the back dunes at midnight.
Has anyone declared an official cb channel for the weekend? Might come in handy if someone gets lost or stuck in the back dunes, this is experience talking haha
I will be there. Seth let me know if you need any help with anything and get ahold of my parents at some point, they always have fun lending a hand.

there are only two gates to get on the sand. grand and pier. pier would be the closest..... and dont feel bad about being a rookie ive been to pismo a thousand times and never could remember that gate is pier ave haha always just called it south gate.
if you are comin in after dark air down and lock up when you hit sand. its better to be way over prepared for water/deep sand and just cruise on through than trying to air down while avoiding water in the dark trust me haha.... or.. when in doubt throttle out. thats my motto
12 months? s*** that no problem. few years back i rolled mine 400 feet or so in mid april and still made it to the next snt. you got plenty of time. and i should have warned you that fan i sold you makes it go faster haha:steer:;)

not a problem, always happy to help a fellow cruiserhead. this is the first surf'n'turf ive ever been to where i drove my cruiser around and helped people instead of fixing it. i also drove home un afraid which is a new feeling for me hahaha.

as long as you have a reservation to camp then you just pick a spot and set up camp. there is so registration for the event but you should sign it with pismojim when you get there. the signin gives a rough estimate of how many cruisers were there.
