I would think about after market rear lower links. Probably the weakest thing on the truck, and if you break one on the trail you will go nowhere. I think the rock rails with kick-outs can save rear fender area. I have caved in both sides on mine, anyway. Mud and trees will gang up on...
Ha-Ha. I may have spoiled it for you. There are trails at MIOBI that are pretty mild for a start. I think Memorial Day Weekend is the first outing around here. If you would rather I would let you take mine for a spin as it is already scratched up, etc. -Larry
Last time I checked both sides slightly bulged and a small crack started. I don't obsess over the problem. I think it comes from the tires hitting the inner fender, from my observations. I have over 100K on it now.
Let me know if you need anything. I have a bunch of tools and oxy-acet welder...
Welcome
It will be nice to have another FJC in the club. We do get a discount at Toyota of Des Moines. Off roading can be expensive. I just ordered a rear quarter window I broke at Texas Jamboree last week. :crybaby: - Larry
Jamboree
One only gets to know the people on the separate runs, much the same at Cruise Moab. Telllco is closed and they have substituted other trails. I was signed up for GSMTR the year they closed it and the club just sent back the money to everyone registered. :bang:
Welcome
I also was at the Jamboree, nice and muddy running. I just came back from Cruise Moab missing a rear pinion and in front wheel drive. I will post pictures when I get some time.- Larry
