   Hi Artisan, From the facts you provided, it looks obvious that the cheaper trans may have been abused. Given the costs involved in swapping and the fact you don’t want another breakdown as you are sometime in hard to reach places, I would go for the other options.

The key point is to purchase one for the correct model year (the early 100 have a different box from the later and they arent interchangeable). What was the mileage / kms on the Box ?
