LX470 2004 | Need help with Android Screen

I bought the 128GB both for the storage and hopefully smoother performance memory wise. I think if you're just doing carplay you might be OK with less but I wouldn't get the base model either way. I've installed Plex on mine and have downloaded/synced a bunch of movies over! Too bad there's no...

    Yep, it's a 5 channel amp.

I got the 2k because a) higher resolution = more detail, especially helpful in mapping applications. b) better display density setup for CarPlay. c) it reportedly has better built-in cooling and doesn't get as hot. It's also got a better built-in mic if you care about that.

My forward and back buttons also need to be swapped, could you point me in the right direction? I tried pulling up the steering wheel mapping and didn't see anything set up in there.

There's this but you might want to contact them with pictures to see if they've got the right harnesses, etc., for your setup. Toyota Landcruiser Land Cruiser 10 J100 100 (1998-2007) - https://teyes.com.au/products/toyota-land-cruiser-10-j100-100-1998-2007?variant=39980003524804 However...

I made a couple of quick videos showing the amplifier and RCA wiring in case those are helpful. This is on my '04. The Teyes wiring itself was just plug-and-play, matching up all of the connectors that could possibly fit together. Shoving that mess of wires in behind the unit turned out to be...

🤦🏼‍♂️ got my rear speaker issue figured out. Ran temporary wires from amp to speaker, nada… then pulled the speaker out of the door and discovered that my connector behind it had somehow come loose over the past few years! Clearly I don’t sit in my own back seat much. The only issue I’ve got...

Making progress! So a few years ago I removed my dead navigation drive under the passenger seat and made these jumpers to allow audio to go to the front left speaker. IIRC the nav drive had an interrupt in it for that speaker only. I must have bumped this while pulling into the OEM amp and...

Ooh, that factory harness diagram helps, I'll go check my connector! I'm sending low-level outputs from teyes to the amp through the RCA outputs and I've validated that all 5 channels coming out of the Teyes have signal, and all 4 outputs from the amp have signal (I'm not sure on the 5th sub...

Yeah. So I’ve got 4 channels on the amp working fine, all except the sub. I’ve only got audio coming out of the right rear and right front speakers, but I can take the grey wires on the metra harness and connect them to all 4 channel outputs on the amp to verify all channels are working...

LX470 2004 | Need help with Android Screen

It's gotta be something with the replacement amp wiring harness/connector for me. I had all speakers working fine before I pulled the factory amp to replace it and I've verified my RCA outputs from the head unit are all sending the right signals. I get front right audio on the grey wires, back...

Any luck figuring the wiring out yet? I can only get sound out of my right side speakers, so I’m wondering if the wires are in the wrong sockets on the plug! I’ve checked that all of the RCA outputs from the teyes head unit are on properly and I used the fader/balance on each while connected to...

Hmm, I just want somebody else to be the guinea pig before I rip out my Grom vline! I replaced all of my blown factory speakers a few years ago with budget Rockford Fosgate 4 ohm sets. I think the worst part of using an amp might be the wiring. Where is the factory amp located? Would it be...
