Only 3? I can already feel it stealing my soul. 🤨 Seems like the price for my glorious figure to grace your spank bank should be much higher. :flipoff2:

Yeah it was worth it. Once we got back I had a look at Google maps, supposedly only 19 minutes longer to go via the back road through lake Cowichan. We'd intended to stop at the Renfrew pub for lunch, but couldn't remember where it was and our phones didn't work, so we said ****it and headed...

Couple of random shots swmbo took. A Canadian cenote and a sign of the apocalypse.

That was fun. Interesting terrain, very different... We took the long way back, pausing for a beverage at Jake's on the Lake in Lake Cowichan.😁

Once the coffee has taken hold, we'll load up. If I'd thought about it sooner I'd have popped the roof off the 40 and brought it, but it's a bit late now. 60 is better at making speed limits. Not to mention the sunburn I don't need 😂

I think every cruiser head on the island already knows where he lives. Even some dirty mainlanders:lol:

We'll probably aim for your place, I can barely find my ass with both hands and a flash light, let alone some dirt road in the boonies... How long is the hike from the trucks? Just thinking about shoes, and if they get soaked is it a long walk back squelching and squeaking.

Ha, they do share a bit of a look. Think ours might be smaller, she's only about 28 lbs but it's hard to tell under all that fur. She was kinda horrified by the bullfrog. It was almost comatose from the cold, if it had jumped she'd have hit the ceiling haha

Perfect. There's a few floaters out there now, but I can add more if the beaver doesn't beat me to it...

Those are the kinds of fly eaters I want to get going in our pond. Currently we have these assholes. ( and I am referring to BOTH assholes. )

Ok I need some of those salamander eaters to feed bullfrogs to.

Cool. I still have three heavy ass discs of steel for you too. I figured it'd probably be frowned on. We'd likely need things that are more comfortable in deeper water anyways. We have a pitcher plant on the deck, but it'd be fun to get some of the colorful local stuff going...

So this north main, is that out by Jordan River? And the other thing I wonder, is this a protected area? As in, thou shalt not remove plants? Not that I'd rape and pillage or anything, but it'd be cool if we could get some carnivorous plants going in our pond. Something invasive to eat...

Yeah, might see if we can leave the ancient one with my folks and maybe just bring frick and frack. Parents have cats so...the pirhanas won't fly there, it'd be a s***show. We'll try to figure something out, it's a ways off yet.

Doesn't look like I'm working that weekend, Swmbo has been wanting to check this out so we'll see if we can make it. It'll likely be a question of dogs. Long time to leave them at home, and the old boy wouldn't do well with that long in a truck. He's pushing 16, so he doesn't really do...
