    My guess is that the snowplow is working as a stone shield for the drive down. You can absolutely ruin a nice car/truck towing behind something that throws stones or sand.

    Agreed that the tuffy console is a POS in a 40. I have been redesigning one in solidworks for months now.....got to finish that. The tuffy leaves a LOT of room underneath it that's wasted, plus the shifter interference....not just from the knob, but it also crushes any "normal" sized drink...

    Oh, that makes sense. I was thinking that's how you dispose of your beer and weed when you are pulled over. Not mine officer....I dunno how that got on the ground. Haha..I knew a guy in high school that did that through the rust holes in his floorboards.

    I like your idea of the split seats better than what I used on my previous truck. I used a fold and tumble out of a mitsubishi montero. It was a perfect fit, but it was all or nothing for rear seating/cargo when you only had three people in the truck.

    bad angle Here you go. Hard to see the clearance on the tower, but maybe you can see the smaller ujoint here. You still have to cut part of the web out of the shock tower, but not nearly as much as with the larger 60 series u-joint. I bet it cuts a 1/4" off the overall diameter, or more.
