I have a 93. Even mild boost I have to go haltech. Too much work. The haltech is not pnp on obd1 cars. Also head gasket is blown. Might as well swap something better than the 4.5

Since I have a RHD fzj I wonder if a 1hdt is easier? If I can get a RHD engine harness from Japan or Australia it should more or less just bolt in yeah? No? I like the sound of a supercharger more and more 😂
More power. Particularly at altitude.
Turbo is almost more difficult than the swap on a RHD 1993. Several issues to deal with. If I'm gonna have to install a megasquirt I might as well just swap the engine.
The supercharger might be a good option, though
Neither is a turbo 1fzfe, but I'm not sure I want to install a haltech on my obd1 car either. Maybe it's not so bad. An extra 75hp would really wake the engine up, especially at altitude
Is it the ls1/5.3 vortec? 1hdt? Something else?
