Storm cleanup day. Had the tops ripped off a few pine trees. Just finished cutting the first one into manageable pieces.

Nothing like having a good Cottonland meeting and pulling on you street to find a downed tree and power lines. Waiting for the OK front Entergy and then I’m dragging this big f-ing tree out the road so that I can go to bed.

That’s the idea. I thought about pulling the rear springs and setting it on the bump stops and installing the j’s up front and posting a pic just to troll the web-wheelers on mud but it was too much extra work. 😂

Doing a little bit of work on my 80 project I drug home a few months back. Now that it runs and drives and has functioning 4wd it’s time to start the build. I pieced together a lift consisting of Old Man Emu springs, 2850J front 2863 rear and a set of pro comp shocks that are similar length to...

Still on schedule to have a running 100 today. I completely dressed the engine on the engine stand and as of 5mins ago it is between the frame rails and bolted to the transmission.

Was ran out of oil due to massive leak from vvt system. Tried to save it but the damage was done when it arrived. When the wrecker dropped it off I added almost 6qts to it and it would run but sounded like a 12 valve Cummins. Took forever to find a replacement and finally found a reman. Should...

I don’t know why people complain about how hard it is to replace the rack and pinion, all of the bolts are easily accessible. 😂

I think my zero turn was designed by Chrysler, in order to replace the transmission drive belt and cooling fan I had to remove the transaxle. So much for quick and easy.

Nothing more satisfying than gutting the interior out of a nasty truck and throwing it in the trash. Have to put a windshield in it and run channels for the windows then can get @dnp to order me a carpet kit.

I’m surprised it didn’t slam on the brakes and shift itself into park.

She’s filthy but is running smooth on all 6 cylinders. Good oil pressure and no overheating, even has working air conditioning 😁. Time for a serious bath/degreasing and I will be able to see what I got and figure out what direction I will go.

Had a fun adventure today. Went to look at a white 96 80 that @dnp found on Craigslist. It is overwhelming disgusting, not running and sitting on 4 flats. DNP passed on it so I negotiated a deal that included the exchange of $100 bills and beer. So now I have a new addition to the heard. Tag...

Apparently 2005-2006 Tacoma’s had frame issues around the driver side engine mount. Frame would crack and the mount would move into the frame rail causing the fan to hit the shroud. Ordered a kit from DMZ Fab and had Shrek burn it all back together. Should last for a while now. Talk about a...

LX470 Towed in for a no start and multiple electronic components not working. Found fuse in fuse box blown and shorted to ground. Various wires for dash and ignition melted together. This is just the start of the process of removing all of the aftermarket junk so that the dash harness can be...
