   They aren't. I've never seen so much backlash at such a simple question. If the OP likes the wheels better than OEM, install them. The recommended wheel width for a 315/75R16 is 8" to 10", however there have been lots of folks that have installed 35's and even 37's on 7" or 7.5" wheels...
