The engine and transmission was about $10k; then I had to get the custom harness made ($2,600) and lots of smaller things like a new diesel radiator and shroud, etc. I did all my own work so I'm guessing it cost me around $15K for everything.
Wow. You kept the viscous heater too? Does it work? If so, I'd love to hear how you wired it to work without the 100-series climate control connections.
That's awesome, Kishen! I also do not have the PWR/2nd Start or Cruise lights working yet but the features work just fine so it's a minor inconvenience.

If you're wanting to keep the 1FZ engine and adapt a five speed, I'd say that's going to be a complicated project. You will definitely need to find some sort of standalone...
I'm a little confused by your post. Are you wanting to swap a 1FZ-E for a 1HD-FTE diesel and A750F 5-speed auto transmission combo or are you wanting to just put a 5-speed transmission out of a 100- series diesel behind a 1FZ-E?
