Nice work!
I've thought about painting the fenders, steps, and, I guess, the rear flares/fenders a contrasting color reminiscent of the classic cars of the 1930's. Looks like you had something of the same idea.
You want a straight trade, right? I mean it doesn't sound like you're looking for a trade up deal where you'd put your truck and a bunch of money into getting the truck you want.
How did you manage to get that truck smogged, BTW?
Nearly so. Most vehicles with full time 4 wheel drive don't have a lock for the center differential so it's a nice plus over the norm. But center lock doesn't lock either the front or the rear differentials. You're right, Doc, that the earlist FJ80's have the center lock as standard equipment.
Am I the only one confused?
The pictures above of the light colored 25 are NOT pictures of the vehicle that Joel is selling. His is dark green (or that's what it looks like on my monitor), and he'll send a batch of pictures to anyone who emails him about it.
BTW, it sounds like a good...
Well, it's within the KBB range for a private party sale of a good condition cruiser like it, at least for my zipcode, and a couple grand above the trade-in value.
I really thought that they'd hit it though....maybe the fuel milage bugaboo zapped you.
It's not that easy but there are a couple of people who use this site and have that kind of vehicle. Might go to the international forum and see the thread in the FAQs about importation.
It's always $8k for some reason.
Don't be lulled by the assurances about the safety of an ebay transaction. Ebay protections extend only to deals made within the US. Read the fine print sometime.
Ebay poofed him away. They're on top of it.
Do you know whether the turbo is working or been changed under the lifetime warranty?
And how's the tranny? does it slip, leak, or make any funny noises?
Power steering working quietly?
And now........(drum roll, please).....does the A/C put out nice ice cold when in max air and fan high?
