    That is so useful - I have been trawling the net trying to work out high/low pressure areas for a bonnet scoop on my 78 (which must share the same brick-like characteristics!) Now we need a writeup of the Long Island 40 Wayne..........:popcorn:

    Many thanks Wayne, I was under the Troopy the other night and realised mine is too long so the oil is not getting as direct a route as it should! Yeah, I took a 1HZ sump the other day that was lying around and measured litre by litre to get an idea of levels. It's just great all the over...

    Anti-seize on the bushings is a good tip - esp as I hopefully am doing some spring fitting this weekend. Not a huge fan of poly but we see.... Ones I had on a Defender seemed to just fall apart. Why do some people disagree with your anti-seize method? 1HZ into a 40 is parked in my fantasy garage
