I would not do this. I bought a rig, now sold on, where the po did something along those lines (two old carpets) It was not good. I think there are better ways to get sound and insulation coverage. For me better to pull the old one. If yours is in relatively good shape I am sure someone out...
You should talk to the guy @Rusto who posted earlier in the thread looking just for those sections. Maybe you can work out a deal to split the order and expense?
Now that you have a supporting vendor designation you should be good to post as the others do IMO. A level playing field is all anyone can ask in these circumstances I think
Sometimes its Ih8competition I guess and all it takes is one complaint. Keep your chin up if you have the product right people will find you through referrals etc.
