I have the same Gen 4 intake, I just capped off that port from the EVAP line with a rubber cap, nothing special. As for venting I have hydroboost so I put my driver's side valve cover to the leftover brake booster vaccum and the passenger valve cover uses vent port on my throttle (I have a gen...
@tornadoalleycruiser That line in your hand in that pic is a EVAP line. Those are Gen 4 fuel rails, returnless. All of those Gen 4 stainless rails are. Easiest/best option (as long as you aren't going forced induction later) that everyone does is the corvette regulator mounted near the tank and...
I completely redid that crossmember this time last year. That crossmember you pictured split in half right next to the mount in Colorado last august after three years of abuse. granted that toyota stamped sheet metal is kinda thin.
Also, I have not had good luck with bushing style engine...
4l60 uses a similar type of gasket there and people leave them out all the time since AA doesn't include them and you don't know you need it if you've never seen it
you want this

Also, are you sure you don't need the ring gasket between the adapter and transmission housing? Does the adapter have a snug fit onto the transmission case?
ACDelco #24224675 is the original part number that goes there.
No, I know it doesn't leak because I've done it. On several projects.
One is steel and the other is aluminum. One could just put a tap though it real quick but it doesn't matter, it's 1 Tpi difference on a pipe thread. it's so small you can't even see it if you put them side by side. Also...
This is what I’ve been using for my conversions, $9, thread in place of GM sender and thread Toyota sender into it. Done. Like I said it’s NPT but the difference is so minor it doesn’t matter, I let the steel sender and aluminum threads work it out amongst themselves
Yes in your case with the Holley you’ll actually use the GM sender. @2fpower is running the stock ECU so he won’t need it.
I would get one of the aftermarket fittings that go between the GM sender and block that are intended for turbo oil feeds and put it there. Having the Toyota sender stick...
That Earls oil cooler block off is a joke, just grab the one of the other engine you have sitting there. They’re free from GM
I think I forgot to take a picture before I dropped the motor in yesterday but I think I have the best way to adapt the Toyota oil pressure sender to the LS. It’s a...
It’s not that hard to strip down the original harness to make it standalone like that - just tedious. I’d say it takes a full day if you’ve done stuff like that before, maybe two days if you haven’t. Just depends what your time is worth
The guide should be online
I'd stay split case, it's already part-time, has more aftermarket gearing options, easier to rebuild. The offsets are slightly different but not a huge deal.
Don't accuse me of being smart though
