it's not exactly what you're asking, but folks are having decent results with a Sniper and a blow-thru turbo— the original use of a turbo was for altitude compensation (in military aircraft, but still).

Heck yeah dude. Really nice to see the photos of you all set up out there especially after the break-in. Is your internet fast enough? A buddy out in the CA desert (JV) has Starlink running and it's full speed, not sure what the power draw is but it might be an option.

Yeah, I felt the same way for my 60 - it's a pleasure use vehicle rather than a DD, I do occasionally do longer road trips in it but mostly it gets used for camping and adventure within a couple hours of my home, which may be afoul of the letter of the law but not the spirit. I feel like a TLCA...

I scored my ARB bumper on CL that way, but wasn't aware you could set alerts on Offerup. I'm not on FB and I know that means missing out on a lot of deals.

I can't believe you scored sliders for 350… Also that historic plate is nice. OR is stuck with a catch-all special purpose reg/plate which doesn't officially accommodate using a classic very much— you're supposed to only drive it for 'club events' or something like a 60 mile radius of your...

Yeah, I had one of those bluetooth aux adapters on my old B7 Audi— it worked, but it was a pain to use especially switching from radio to BT and back, or changing who was playing thru the BT. Fortunately even basic head units have BT now and the hardest part is running the wire for the microphone.

Some bluetooth speakers have phone controls — I can make and answer phone calls from an iPhone and my Oontz speaker. Fridge and drawers look like they're working well!

Does your truck have the tall or short seat pylons on the body? I don’t recall which years had what. One caution with having a drawer system unbolted is they may settle and rack, and the drawers may not open well. I have that issue with the KISS drawers in my 80, I must have not evenly bolted...

Nice meeting you yesterday and good luck on the trip! Pick up a dash cam if you don't have one already.

Not sure if you've already done this since the photos from April, but you'll be driving thru salt country— might be a good idea to coat the chassis and suspension with Fluid Film or Woolwax before you go. Would appreciate details of your kill switch install as well… my 60 gets garaged but there...
