I ran into the same problem with Black & Decker driver bits. I suspect they might be manufactured with cheap (read brittle) steele from overseas...steele made for a different target market.
Sometimes you can cheat death with those difficult-to-remove screws/bolts by just cracking each one...
The 2 Relays on the Door Lock system for the 62 are both used for the solenoid in the rear (tailgate) door, so if either of those 2 relays is bad, it should only affect the operation of the tailgate power lock.
Those relays are located in the DS cargo panel (see page BE-12 in the 1984-90...

FWIW, I checked the FSM and there is a procedure to test the Power Window Switch(es) and Relay, so if you experience additional problems, might run those (and check the fuse for that circuit in the Main Circuit Box) to make sure they are...
