   Axle bolts sheared off? Why?

   There IS a thread or two here on mud describing exactly the same thing - sheared full floating axle flange studs. It’s not as uncommon as you think. There is an upgrade that can help prevent that from happening again. Bigger studs screwed into oversized tapped holes
