Full dash, cleaned, registers installed and with some protectant wiped on.
You and you're perfect dash....curse you Onur. :)
That's exactly what I have planned for my dash bezel...hopefully it'll glue back together nicely.
NO WAY...KEEP SHOWING.....has helped me several times in knowing what I needed to get and for some other parts that I also "needed" but didn't know. :)
Ok, i have not idea...what's an expansion valve, how much are they and if I'm going to have my dash off (ton of after market wires in there that need to come out) and why's it a good idea to replace? Thanks
How much was that new condenser....its purdy...where did you order that from.
Onur...
Who would have thunk it?
Holy Schnikes!
What's the plan now Onur? This is getting more and more epic. (I can hear Shane cheering and cursing out of jealousy at the exact same time).
Rustoleum paint seems to not like me...everytime I've used it I've ended up getting a pitted finish. Much better luck with Eastwood and SEM products for coverage. Is the pro better? Don't feel like having to re-do sliders.
Looks great Onur...what did you use for a primer? I have some sliders that I need to do and was trying to decide between PC and using Eastwood chassis paint. Do you think the duplicolor will hold up best. I'm leaning towards paint since the sliders will take a good amount of abuse and I like...
i was actually thinking of going the Shane route (crazy I know)...and just buying new lights if they're still available. Not the most economical way to do things...but if still around like the idea of having brand new lights on the rig.....everything else on the exteriors been replaced, so why...
Onur, I think they're NLA...but wanted to see if I could still find some front and rear lights for my FJ60. pulled the fronts off over the weekend when I was getting ready to install the new headlights and realized that the gaskets are done.
Hmmm.. Wyoming LP....I also see the corner of a "grocery getter" AKA FZJ80....I think we all know where this is going. Onur, I can't wait to see your finished project...thing is coming along nicely.
i got a new one...not sure why to be honest - mainly i think because it was still available. Don't think it really does anything....doesn't muffle the sound at all. Remember someone saying it was mainly in case there was ever an engine fire...though I don't know the validity to that.
If i was...
@beno
Onur, going back a ways on your posts. For the heater delete I got 4 of the body plugs. did you use a silicone to seal them up better, or just pop them in?
thanks,
K
