I realize this is just the testing phase, but please take that orange thing off nd put a decent filter on there before you run it. :grinpimp:
Fwiw r134a systems are relatively low pressure. Even with high ambient temps you won't see much over 225psi on the discharge side. Get the fittings to match up and you can run anything for tube, even soft copper will work fine.
Especially for as low budget as it was, that was an amazing show. Good on you for getting the kids in on it.
You should consider doing builds for profit, I've seen your attention to detail it is impeccable.
